On Thursday, May 13, 2021 Wallace Eannace’s Corporate Vice President and Associate Partner, Darryl Clark, was named Man of the Year by the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Women’s Clubs.
During the ceremony, Ms. Betty Brown-Greene, President of the Mid-Island Club, presented a plaque to Mr. Clark and quoted Martin Luther King, “The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy”.
Ms. Betty Brown-Green also congratulated Mr. Clark for his continuous example of breaking through professional barriers as an African American in the 21st century.
According to Hank Kunkel, President of Wallace Eannace, “I have proudly worked with Darryl for over 30 years. Darryl started in our company’s warehouse while attending Hofstra University, and quickly demonstrated his leadership qualities. Not a day has gone by that Darryl hasn’t inspired those around him and we all have witnessed his relentless pursuit for excellence. Today, Darryl is an Associate Partner of our 96-year-old firm. Under his guidance we have grown from a firm serving just the New York Tri-state market to the entire United States. I speak on behalf of all the Wallace Eannace employees in congratulating Darryl Clark on his recognition as The Man of the Year by the National Association of Negro Business and Professional Clubs”.
