601 West 29th St – HVAC Energy Efficiency Project by Wallace Eannace

Wallace Eannace provided energy efficient HVAC system design consultative services and equipment to the project team of a large residential development in New York City, 601 West 29th Street. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 and 154 into account, highly efficient HVAC equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers, Panasonic heat pumps, and Olimpia Splendid condenser-less heat pumps.

 

About the Project:

601 West 29th Street, a 695-foot-tall residential skyscraper designed by FXCollaborative and developed by Douglaston Development, the 60-story structure is also known as “Tower A” in a two-building development alongside 606 West 30th Street. 601 West 29th Street yields 703 market-rate and 235 affordable housing residences, 50,000 square feet of amenity space, and 15,000 square feet of retail space. Levine Builders constructed the property.
