Wallace Eannace provided energy efficient HVAC system design consultative services and equipment to the project team of a large residential development in New York City, The Dime. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 into account, highly efficient HVAC equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers, Panasonic heat pumps, and Olimpia Splendid condenser-less heat pumps.
About the project
“The Dime,” is a 264-foot-tall residential tower located on 275 South Fifth Avenue Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The reinforced concrete building has topped off behind the Dime Savings Bank landmark. The project sits on a 50,000 square foot site, almost an acre in size, and spans just over 350,000 square feet.
