Claremont Hall – HVAC Energy Efficiency Project by Wallace Eannace

Wallace Eannace provided energy efficient HVAC system design consultative services and equipment to the project team of a large mixed-use development in New York City, Claremont Hall. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 into account, highly efficient HVAC equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers, Panasonic heat pumps, and Olimpia Splendid condenser-less heat pumps.

About the project

A 42-story mixed-use tower dubbed as Claremont Hall, located in the heart of the Union Theological Seminary‘s campus is estimated for completion in 2023. Claremont Hall will provide approximately 54,000 square feet of classrooms, academic offices, and faculty-designated apartments. The remainder of the building will be allocated for approximately 165 condominium residences. Developers are also aiming for LEED Gold Certification.
