Wallace Eannace provided energy-efficient heating, cooling, and domestic hot water system design assist services and equipment sourcing through its wholesale distribution network to the project team 620 6th Avenue. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 and 154 into account, highly efficient equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers.

620 6th Avenue is an architecturally significant landmark of remarkable character, home to leaders in fashion, design, media and technology. One of the premier anchors of Manhattan’s vibrant Chelsea sub-market, the Beaux-Arts style property features 700,000 square feet of Class-A commercial space with lofty ceiling heights up to 17 feet, large 100,000 square foot floor plates and expansive window lines. 620 Avenue was constructed in 1896 and was designed to utilize monumental architectural expression to become the symbol of the “Cast Iron Era”. The property was originally built to the highest quality standard offering superior column layouts, floor load capacity, optimal window height and distinctive detail.
