Wallace Eannace provided energy efficient heating, cooling, and domestic hot water system design assist services and equipment sourcing through its wholesale distribution network to the project team of a large residential development located at 312 West 43rd Street, Midtown Manhattan. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 and 154 into account, highly efficient equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers.
About the Project:
Construction is almost finished at 312 West 43rd Street, the site of a two-building residential development in Midtown, Manhattan. Designed by Handel Architects and developed by National Real Estate Advisors and Taconic Partners, the 401-foot-tall structure will yield 330 rental units in studio to two-bedroom layouts, as well as 28,000 square feet of amenities and up to 42,000 square feet of retail space spread across two levels. Triton Construction is serving as the general contractor for the property, which is located between West 42nd and 43rd Streets and Eighth and Ninth Avenues, directly north of the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
