Wallace Eannace provided energy efficient heating, cooling and domestic hot water system design assist services and equipment sourcing through its wholesale distribution network to the project team of a large commercial development in New York City, a 42-story residential skyscraper located at 606 West 30th Street. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 and 154 into account, highly efficient equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers.
About the Project:
Construction wraps up on 606 West 30th Street, a 42-story residential skyscraper along the border of Hudson Yards and West Chelsea, Manhattan. Designed by Ismael Leyva Architects and developed by Lalezarian Properties, the 545-foot-tall structure spans 312,350 square feet with 192,780 square feet of residential space and 14,240 square feet of commercial space on the lower levels.
