Xylem employees and stakeholders throughout the world have demonstrated their commitment to this mission by playing a critical role in the fight to prevent and control the ongoing COVID-19 outbreak.
One of the ways that Xylem has provided support is by diverting manufacturing capacity to produce protective shields that will be worn by essential workers, including medical professionals and first responders.
As a business partner of Xylem brands, Wallace Eannace reached out to the First Responder/ Medical community and found that there was an urgent need for these protective face shields at Good Samaritan Hospital Suffern, NY. Wallace Eannace’s Stephen Martin, Account Executive, delivered the first of several shipments of personal protective equipment to the Good Samaritan Hospital. According to Mr. Martin, “Xylem and Wallace Eannace knew they needed to do something. Over the past three months, we delivered an enormous amount of PPE to first responders in the New York and New Jersey areas. COVID is still happening. As we are all forced to have masks, our front liners are wearing them for longer than anyone”.
