When New York City required a rapid start-up of an emergency COVID-19 research and development facility, they selected a building that had been closed and sold off by St. John Villa Academy. In order to get the building operational and to mandatory safety standards, including new heating equipment and clean water distribution systems, they reached out to Wallace Eannace for support. Working with it’s manufacturing supplier, Xylem | Bell & Gossett, high performance – energy efficient equipment was selected to meet the buildings use requirements. That was the easy part. As the building was in an urgent start-up, it was not possible to divert trucking companies from their other critical deliveries to meet the tight time frame. That is when the Wallace Eannace Orange Team jumped into action, driving hundreds of miles to pick-up the required equipment and deliver it in their own vehicles. According to Wallace Eannace’s Corporate Vice President, Darryl Clark, “I am very proud of our team and manufacturing partner Xylem | Bell & Gossett. We are committed to providing solutions that aid in combating this deadly virus, as well as supporting our dedicated and essential HVAC and plumbing contractors. Our staff lived up to one of the founding pillars of our organization, EXTREME OWNERSHIP. We will continue to do our part in meeting the needs of our community”.
