Gain a practical understanding of steam heating systems, their key components, and how they work together to provide reliable and efficient operation. This course covers the fundamentals of steam distribution, condensate return, system pressure, venting, traps, and controls, along with proper operating practices. Attendees will learn how to recognize and troubleshoot common problems such as uneven heating, water hammer, pressure issues, failed traps, and poor condensate return. The class will also explore control strategies and proven problem-solving techniques to help diagnose system issues, improve performance, reduce energy waste, and maintain dependable steam system operation.
