Wallace Eannace provided energy-efficient heating, cooling, and domestic hot water system design assist services and equipment sourcing through its wholesale distribution network to the project team at 1185 Broadway in NoMad, Manhattan. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 and 154 into account, highly efficient equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers.
About the Project:
The Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Residences is a 45-story skyscraper located at 1185 Broadway in the NoMad neighborhood. Designed by Rafael Viñoly and developed by Marriott, Ritz-Carlton Hotels, and Flag Luxury Properties, the 580-foot-tall reinforced concrete tower features 250 guest rooms across 150,000 square feet, along with 16 one- and two-bedroom penthouse residences situated on the upper levels.
