Wallace Eannace provided energy-efficient heating, cooling, and domestic hot water system design assist services and equipment sourcing through its wholesale distribution network to the project team of the Morgan North. To ensure building performance requirements were met and taking Local Law 97 and 154 into account, highly efficient equipment was selected for this project, including but not limited to Lochinvar condensing boilers, Xylem Bell & Gossett pumps, drives, & heat exchangers.
About the Project:
With a rich history spanning three centuries, 341 Ninth Avenue is a huge landmark property owned by the U.S. Postal Service known as Morgan North or the Morgan General Mail Facility. Since 1933, the 10-story office building is spread across two full city blocks from West 28th to 30th Streets between 9th and 10th Avenues, NYC’s newest and most vibrant neighborhood. Morgan North boasts a 2.5-acre private roof deck, the largest in the borough.
