Electrification Made Practical (1 PDH)
February 21 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm EST
FreeDate: February 21, 2025
Time: 12 pm – 1 pm
Location: Virtual
PDH: 1.0 PDH
Trainer: Robert Barrett
This presentation looks at how power is produced at the plant level, the mix of fossil fuel and non-fossil fuel-based energy within our energy grid. “Point-of-Use” efficiency of electric appliances. The COP requirements of heat pumps are required to be at parity with condensing gas-fired units. Why “electrification” is a “green” technology, even with the current fossil fuel mix, the costs for fully electric systems versus conventional systems, and why hybrid systems make sense ecologically and financially.
